Project Summary
The Coptic Orthodox Church in Jordan seeks to address this pressing need by securing
support to fund the tuition fees for school and university students from
underprivileged families. This initiative aims to ensure that financial hardship
does not hinder the educational aspirations of children and youth who have the
potential to contribute meaningfully to their communities and society at large.
The primary beneficiaries are children and youth from low-income and vulnerable
Coptic families residing in Jordan.
Objectives
The project has three objectives:
- To provide financial assistance for school and university tuition fees for at
least 100 needy students annually.
- To promote equal access to quality education regardless of socio-economic
status.
- To empower youth through education and improve their future employment
prospects.
The program will be administered by the St Antonios
Charitable society under the umbrella of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Jordan
through a dedicated committee responsible for identifying eligible students based on
transparent need-based criteria. Funds will be disbursed directly to educational
institutions to ensure accountability and proper utilization.
Partnerships
St Antonios Charitable society and the Coptic Church are seeking partnerships with
faith-based networks to raise funds for this initiative in covering 100 students
each year.
